Daddy’s Home

I can’t believe what passes for movies these days!  For a comedy, I didn’t think this one was very funny at all.  Will Ferrell wasn’t funny.  Mark Wahlberg wasn’t funny.  There were a couple of scenes that had funny “moments,” but overall, it was just boring!  And stupid!  Ferrell plays a step-dad that is just starting to make a connection with his kids, when Wahlberg shows up as the “real” dad and interferes with everything in their life.  From then on, it’s just a competition to see who the better dad is and who the kids will like better.  I always hear people say things like they want their time back, but I really do!  This movie owes me 95 minutes back of my life!!!
