Trouble with the Curve

This movie was so much more than just baseball.  It was about life.  It was about relationships.  It was about how everything really affects everyone and everything else along the way.  It’s Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams playing their roles as father and daughter perfectly.  Along with Justin Timberlake and John Goodman and many others doing the same.  I liked that it showed how age, experience and knowing what you’re doing DOES matter!  And that loyalty should matter.  That there are more important things in life than just the bottom line.  Clint Eastwood plays a baseball scout nearing the end of his career and not really wanting to accept that fact.  Amy Adams is his daughter, who is trying to reconcile the past with her father while making sure he’s doing alright with his aging, along with trying to further herself in her law career.  Justin Timberlake is a new scout trying to learn the ropes from the best.  They’re all tied together and in the end, they realize just how much they really are alike (even if they never saw it before) and how much they all mean to each other.
