Trouble with the Curve

Trouble with the Curve was more of a heartfelt movie than what I was expecting.  Clint Eastwood plays an aging baseball scout who is worried more about recruiting than he is his health.  His daughter, played by Amy Adams, has been at odds with her father for years, but when her dad’s livelihood is on the line  she comes to be at his side and that is where the story begins. Clint’s character needs his daughter to be his eyes and she needs him to be her dad and through the love of baseball  They find a way to work through the hurt, the pain and the loss which inflicted them for most of their lives.  There are other outstanding actors in the movie such as Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, and several other “old timers”.  It isn’t a heavy handed drama –but it is a family drama and one that you might want to watch for the purity of the story and for the legendary actor that is Clint Eastwood.
